DEVASTATOR, founded by designers and artisans Erik Bosman and Arij den Otter, is a Dutch label of unique pieces of tailor-made clothing. Based in their store\atelier in the center of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, DEVASTATOR prefers to use excellent quality of old and leftover stock materials, making sturdy, clean and ample silhouettes. Each garment is perfectly cut, luxuriously and thoughtfully executed, with each of its own special details.
DEVASTATOR intents to steer clear of fashion conventions, like mass-production and seasonal pressure. Instead they focus on craftsmanship and fabrication in a slower pace. Ethics paired with aesthetics is key.
Since some time ATELIER VAN DE VEN has had the wonderful opportunity to present part of the collection in their store. Inspired by the aesthetics and philosophy of the store and with an unconventional and free approach to the craft of ceramics, we have developed a new line of vases, bowls, and trays all with special tactility and/or patina.
